Spiral Stair Lift Installation

L Shaped 90-degree stair liftIn the past, Spiral staircases have been extremely difficult to make stair lifts for, due to the measuring and precision needed to make the track or rails conform correctly to your unique staircase. In fact, many of these stair lifts would seem uneven and would not feel safe to ride. The precision measuring system we use allows for us to manufacture a stair lift that will ride as smooth as any straight stair lift. You can even choose which side, inside, or outside that you would like your lift to be on.

A spiral stair lift is constructed by connecting a number (depending on the length of your stairs) of curved rail pieces that fit together. If you have a landing on your spiral staircase, it isn’t a problem. There will simply be a straight rail piece for that section that will connect to the other curved pieces.

The first step in the installation process is the mounting of the leg bases that will keep the rails in place and your lift safe. Once you have the leg bases mounted to the stairs, you will then join the pieces of railing with spirol pins. This will create the shape of your stair lift.

After your railings are securely fit together, you will then fit the carriage onto the rails and through the skate rollers in the carriage. Connect the battery and install the chargers and the top and bottom of the stair lift. Once all of these steps are complete, you can then install the remote controls and seat. Your spiral stairlift will be complete after programming and testing, and ready for use!
